Settings screen HDTV?
I have a 42 inch Vizio HDTV. I have a picture of Time Warner HD DVR connected to it by component cables. You can not properly adjusted to fit the screen. Most of TV is SD then I care settings stretching Vizio. But there is a problem, I see a blank line flashing at the top of the TV. I know that your cable because when I leave the cable pauses. I change my position H / V TV settings. I see the white line flashes when my V-Position is 18. When I turn 19 I see a white line shorter low in fat. I want this game. You can also change the settings my cable box. I change the image format standard, wide and stretching. You can also change the format of 4x3 or 16x9. I tried playing around with these settings, but can not solve the problem. Can anyone help? Incidentally, I see these lines when I watch HDTV.
This line flicker is called "overscan" and is part of the cable signal. Should not normally see, but there is nothing wrong with your TV, which is how the signal is sent to you.

1st, Vizio reviews and online graphics specification. There are several relatively recent reviews there. I've seen at Costco, and it seems that many of explosion for the dollar. Photo (storage) is not bad, but complaints in this forum of not being able to get parts for them. Caveat emptor. Sony and Sharp are excellent, even if Sharp you have a problem with gangs in the picture. But both are more expensive. Research, research, research. Good luck
