HDMI 1.3 cable and play movies on DVD = chopppy, why?
Hello everyone. Only recently connected my Samsung DVD player with 1.3 HDMI-HDMI cable I bought. Only 6 'long. My TV is a 720p 32 "LCD Vizio. The component cable TV has been flawless from start to finish, but due to a limited number of incoming connections that had to put one of my players over HDMI. anyway. I saw Family Guy on DVD (DVD for the first time in the HDMI cable) and image are often cut and freezing, while the timer was still counting DVD as usual. The only solution is to put the DVD player once in time. Moreover, the rapid movement of the cartoon is drawn lines are a little irregular. Any idea what causes it? I do the test with a DVD more to see if it happens again to clarify, the picture was beautiful, like 15-20 minutes and just starting to get mad at this point.
If the test with some other DVDs. Also in contact Samsung to see if updated firmware is available for your reader. In the early players had some compatibility issues that can be solved with a update. In some cases, they can send a disk with updated firmware. Otherwise, try a short HDMI cable. If possible also try the drive on another TV HDMI to ensure that's not something on television. I hope that helps.
